1 Samuel 13:1-15:35

What God said to me – Are you a Saul or a David?  Do you follow Me with all your heart or do you do what seems best to you . . . do what brings you glory?  Walk with Me.  Seek Me constantly.  Obey quickly.  Hesitate and you may rationalize your way out of obedience.  Stay close to Me.  Lay your heart open before Me and let Me transform you.  I and I alone can change the human heart.  You can put on a mask – only I can totally transform.  Stay close to Me – don’t stray even one step.  Let Me do My work.

1 Samuel 9:1-12:25

What God said to me – Times are difficult.  People are struggling.  Don’t fail to pray.  Pray for everyone I bring across your path.  Lift them up.  Keep your eyes open to see their needs.  I want you involved in My ministry to those who are hurting . . . to those who are struggling.  Your part is to pray.  My part is to act.  When you don’t know how to pray, call to Me and I will give you direction.  You will see Me do great and marvelous things as you walk with Me in prayer.  I will whisper in your ear.  I will give you direction.  Be prayerful.  Be encouraging.  Watch Me work.

1 Samuel 6:1-8:22

What God said to me – “I AM” your rock . . . your Ebenezer.  “I AM” your help.  Whatever you need, “I AM” here.  Whatever situation you find yourself in, “I AM” here.  Don’t be afraid.  Don’t be frustrated.  Know that “I AM” always with you.  I know exactly where you are and what My plan is for that particular circumstance and time of your life.  Don’t try to finagle your way out when things get uncomfortable.  Walk with Me.  Allow Me to work in you and through you the things I desire.  I will make the very thing that was such a difficulty for you into a blessing.  Let Me grow your faith.  Let Me transform you.  Trust Me.
