Ruth 1:1-2:23
What God said to me – I have richly blessed you for you are My child. I redeemed you at a great price. You are valuable to Me. I did not hesitate. I was anxious to be your kinsman redeemer so we could begin this lifelong conversation and eternal fellowship. Come and take refuge under My wings. I will love you and provide for you and protect you. Stay close to Me for there is safety. Let Me teach you all that I have planned for you. Walk with Me. Fellowship with Me.
Judges 17:1-21:25
What God said to me – I know you don’t always understand as you read in My word how people so easily fell away from Me and acted in such a vile manner. But know that there are depths of the human heart, your own heart, that you will never understand. That is why you must stay close to Me. It is so easy to slip away and begin to do as you see fit rather than seeking My will. This time spent with Me is not only precious, it is important and necessary to bind your heart to Mine. Stay close. Don’t neglect this time. Allow Me to plumb the depths of your heart and cleanse you so you’ll never wander.
Judges 13:1-16:31
What God said to me – “I AM” God and I will provide everything you need to accomplish whatever task I set before you. I may not have spoken to your mother before you were born to give direction for your life, but I will speak to you today if you will seek Me. My Spirit will fill you and direct you and teach you. Listen closely. Stay connected. I will not leave you but you can choose to ignore Me. Don’t be like a child who only hears what he wants to hear, but become My intimate companion sharing every moment. A lifelong conversation is possible if you will only stay close.
