Lamentations 2:1-5:22

What God said to me – Whatever happens, know that you are loved with a great love for I have loved you and will always love you.  Call this to mind in times of trouble – I love you.  I do nothing that is outside My love for you.  My discipline, My conviction, even My judgment of you sin is out of My love for you, My child.  Everything I do is for your good . . . to teach you . . . to correct you . . . to instruct you in righteousness until you are conformed to My image.  You are My workmanship and I work diligently and painstakingly in your life to make you My masterpiece.  Keep your focus on Me and not on your circumstances and you will see and experience My working in your life.  I have a plan and you are a part of it.  Trust me and have hope.

Jeremiah 51:1-Lamentations 1:22

What God said to me – Judgment is an awful thing, but righteousness demands it.  Sin and rebellion must always be punished, even in My children.  That is why it is so important that you stay close and do not stray.  Don’t compromise – even for a moment – even on the smallest thing because before you realize it, you have moved away from Me and are walking according to the world.  Keep your focus on the eternal and not the temporal because when you live only for the present without considering the future, it’s easy to fall.  Look at Israel and learn.  I have written these things as an example for you and as a warning of the consequences of sin and going your own way.  Stay close to Me and let Me fill you with joy and peace.

Jeremiah 44:1-50:46

What God said to me – There is no need to worry about the future or what will happen for “I AM” in control.  I carry out My plans and nothing can thwart Me for “I AM” God.  All that I have said, I will do.  My word always stands – that is why you must know My word – that is why you must hear from Me.  I do nothing apart from My word.  I reveal Myself in My word.  Spend much time there for in it you will find Me . . . in it you will come to know Me and My ways.  Listen closely to all I say for I will direct your path and guide you in the way you should go.  Listen to My voice.  Trust My word and you will not stumble or stray.
