Ezra 1:1-3:13

What God said to me – I have a plan that I have revealed in My word and nothing can prevent My plan from being fulfilled.  When it was time for My people to come out of captivity and rebuild My temple, I moved the heart of King Cyrus, king of Persia to issue a decree.  I moved in the hearts of the people I called to go and do the work and the temple was rebuilt as I prophesied through Jeremiah.  I can use anyone or anything to accomplish My purposes whether they realize it or not, whether they willingly cooperate or not.  Spend time in My word.  Seek My face.  Seek My direction so you become a willing participant in accomplishing My purposes in the world.  I long for My people to want to be used by Me.  Surrender yourself to Me.

2 Chronicles 29:1-36:23

What God said to Me – Seek Me and work wholeheartedly at all I set before you.  Do not be afraid or discouraged by your circumstances or difficulties you may face for “I AM” with you.  “I AM” always here to help you and fight your battles.  Turn to Me.  Humble yourself.  Seek My face and you will find Me for I will never leave you or forsake you.  I will take care of you on every side so don’t worry about what you may encounter.  Do those things I’ve called you to do with your whole heart and let Me take care of the rest.  Spend much time with Me in My word and I will teach you how to surrender all those worries to Me.  I will reveal Myself to you.

2 Chronicles 21:1-28:27

What God said to me – To please Me you must seek Me wholeheartedly . . . serve Me wholeheartedly . . . obey Me wholeheartedly.  You can do what is right and yet not be wholehearted towards Me.  I look at your heart – are you wholly devoted to Me?  It’s so easy to keep one foot in the world . . . to go through the motions with Me . . . to say the right things – even do the right things and yet in your heart be craving the world and the things in it.  Let Me transform your heart for I know it’s depths.  Surrender your heart to Me and let Me do My work in you.  I will transform your heart and mind.
