Nehemiah 4-7, Psalms 119:1-16
What God said to me – When Nehemiah returned to Jerusalem to rebuild the walls after their captivity, they were surrounded by enemies who mocked them and scorned them and planned to destroy them. However, the threat did not deter them and they went about the task I called them to with one hand on their weapon and one hand doing the work. You live in a similar time where you are surrounded by mocking, scorning enemies. Don’t let that discourage or deter you. I have set you as salt and light in the world and the weapons of your warfare are not of the flesh but are divinely powerful. Don’t ignore or deny the threat the enemy poses but be diligent to daily put on My full armor so you are prepared and take up the sword of the Spirit, which is My word and with all prayer and petition, pray at all times, staying alert and steadfast to walk in a manner worthy of your calling.
