Esther 8-9, Psalms 119:113-128
What God said to me – The psalmist said, “Therefore I esteem right all your precepts concerning everything.” The question is do you hold My word in such high regard? Most people today do not – even those who claim to be My children. They use excuses like “culture” and “customs” and “times have changed” to explain their neglect and outright rejection of the authority of My word. However My word is settled in heaven forever and “I AM” the same yesterday, today and forever. Times may change – cultures may change – even morals may change – but what I declare as holy does not change and what I say is sin does not change. My word is a light to your feet and a lamp to your path. You cannot choose which parts you will believe and obey and which parts you will not and still walk in a manner worthy of your calling. It is through My word that I teach you and direct you and speak to you and reveal Myself to you so don’t neglect this time.
