Matthew 14-16

What God said to me – It’s easy to look around at the way things are today and complain that people are no longer sincere in their worship, but what about you?  Can you honestly say that you always worship Me in Spirit and in Truth or sometimes are you just going through the motions?  It’s easy to do if you are not careful.  When you are tired or when you have a lot on your mind it’s easy to coast through and not truly focus on Me.  These are the times you need Me most and when true worship will refresh you and renew your faith.  These are the times you need to purposely push all that aside and focus on Me.

Matthew 13

What God said to me – Do you understand how very blessed you are to have access to My word – to be able to read and study to whenever you desire?  You live in a unique time in history where this is available to you when so many of My people throughout the ages never had that opportunity.  So what are you doing with this great privilege?  Do you spend much time reading and studying and meditating on it?  Don’t waste your time on things that have no eternal value.  Television, movies, games, novels all may be very entertaining, but what benefit is in them?  Do they draw you closer to Me?  That’s not to say you should never experience down time where you can chill out and relax but make sure the things you turn to are not filling your eyes and heart with ungodly things.

Matthew 11-12

What God said to me – Maintaining a consistent walk with Me is not easy. Even John the Baptist who was called by Me and used greatly by Me had questions when he was in the midst of a great trial. But when he was questioning and in despair – he sent for Me – he directed his questions to Me not to others. Where do you turn when you have questions – when you are sad or in despair? Is it to Me or to others? Do you draw closer to Me, or do you turn away from Me? My truths, My words, and My plans are spiritually discerned and only those who know Me and who seek to know Me deeply can discern and understand so when you have questions, come directly to Me. Seek Me and I will reveal Myself to you.
