Ezekiel 34-35, Isaiah 13, Hebrews 9

What God said to me – Why do people write wills?  There are many reasons but mainly it is to protect and provide for those they love after their death, usually their families.  Up until they die, they are free to change their will whenever they want to but once they die, that’s it.   Their will can’t be altered, only executed.  I had a will, the Old Covenant that outlined how My people were to live and what they were entitled to when they followed it.  But when I came in the flesh, I rewrote My will.  Now there is a New Covenant and once I died it became irrevocable – it cannot be changed.  Not only did I establish My covenant, but once I was resurrected, I also became the executor of it.  Under My will My children receive total forgiveness and life eternal.  I bequeathed them a home with Me forever as well as peace and love and hope.  I established My covenant and will execute My covenant and you, My children, are My beneficiaries.

Ezekiel 32-33, Isaiah 12, Hebrews 8

What God said to me – Have you ever seen a war movie where there was a surprise attack because the guy watching the radar thought it was just a flock of birds, or it was their own forces returning or he just fell asleep?  This is such an important position because if the guy fails to recognize the danger for whatever reason and doesn’t warn the others, disaster falls.  Although it’s such a vital position, it is never a general who sits and watches – it is just a soldier, but he has a huge responsibility.  In the same way I have appointed you as a watchman on the wall to warn those around you of the coming danger.  You don’t have to be a great teacher or preacher or theologian, you just have to know My word and what it says.  This is the time where I train you and teach you, so you are an effective watchman on the wall.  Judgment is coming and its effects will be devastating so you be strong and have the courage to warn others that “I AM” their only hope for salvation.

Ezekiel 30-31, Isaiah 11, Hebrews 7

What God said to me- Do you want to be like Me?  Then pray!  I offered up a once for all sacrifice as the High Priest of heaven.  I continue as High Priest by interceding constantly for those who are Mine.  When no one else is praying for you or knows your deep hurts and needs, I do and “I AM” praying.  I called those who are Mine to be a kingdom of priests and as a priest, one of your responsibilities is to pray for others.  You are never more like Me than when you are interceding for others.  So, as you go about your life be on the alert and be sensitive to the needs of others so you can pray for them.  They may have no other person they know who prays for them so if I place them on your heart, you be faithful to pray.  Even when you may not know exactly how to pray for them, I do, so pray.  Do you want to be more like Me?  Then pray.  Do you want to make an impact?  Then pray.
