Micah 5-6, Isaiah 52, Revelation 4

What God said to me – You live in a fractured time where there are divisions in society and in your nation and in the world that are so deep, they seem they cannot be crossed or healed.  You watch people deriding government leaders no matter what party they are from and wonder what it would take for them to ever agree with or applaud anything they do.  It’s like the saying “you can’t win for losing”.  Look at Me – if I send judgment on people because of their sin then there are many who say they’d never trust in a God who could hurt people that way.  But if I stay My hand of judgment then some people say, “why does God allow such evil in the world.”  It comes down to a matter of trusting Me and My sovereignty.  You’ve got to trust that the leaders in power, good and bad, are there because “I AM” using them to accomplish My purpose.  You’ve got to trust that judgment will come at the right time according to My plan and My timing and that My plan and My ways are always good and right and perfect.  Believe that and you will experience My peace that passes all understanding.

Micah 3-4, Isaiah 51, Revelation 3:7-22

What God said to me – Have you ever listened to people – whether it’s family or friends or co-workers or people on the news or political leaders in their spouting and orations – and wondered how in the world they don’t get it – how can they not see what is so plain to you?  You must remember that spiritual things are spiritually discerned.  They do not know My thoughts or understand My purpose because they do not know Me.  They truly don’t have the capacity to understand apart from coming to Me and being saved.  So, rather than trying to reason or to argue them into the truth, you must pray.  Rather than feeling frustrated or defeated by their actions and rhetoric – pray.  Pray for My Spirit to draw them.  Pray for the scales to be removed from their eyes so they can truly see.  Pray for them to come to Me so they are able to see and understand the truth and to reject the deception and delusions of the enemy.  The weapons of your warfare are spiritual so quit debating and start praying.

Micah 1-2, Isaiah 50, Revelation 3:1-13

What God said to me – During the reign of Hezekiah in Judah, My prophet Isaiah told him of a future time when they would be going into captivity because of their sin.  Hezekiah’s response was basically “okay – it’s not happening until after I die so that’s fine.”  There is an hour of testing coming on the whole world that will be unlike anything that has ever happened before – a great tribulation where I pour out My wrath on the world and judge them for their sin.  However, I will keep My children from experiencing this awful time.  Those who have not already died will be raised and together with those who are still alive will be raptured.  So, what are you doing with that knowledge?  Are you like Hezekiah saying “okay it’s not going to affect me so it’s fine” or are you using it as an opportunity to warn others and to share the gospel?  “I AM” coming quickly so hold fast to what you have but be a faithful watchman on the wall warning of what is to come.
