Amos 5-6, Isaiah 47, 3 John 3 1

What God said to me – As My child you are to look to Me for direction and guidance.  I love to teach and to train and to encourage My children.  “I AM” happy to take as much time as you need or as you want in order to do that.  This daily conversation is part of the time where we can fellowship, and I can teach and direct you.  I have no greater joy than when my children seek Me and strive to walk in truth and in a manner worthy of their calling.  Besides being My child, you have another role I have called you to – you are to be a mentor and parent if you will, to those who are your spiritual children.  Look at My Apostle John.  He led Gaius to Me but he did not stop there.  He took the time to teach him and to encourage him.  You should have a “Gaius” in your life.  It could be your spouse or a friend or a child or grandchild – someone you take the time to love on and encourage and teach to walk in the truth.  Who is your “Gaius”?

Amos 3-4, Isaiah 45:22-25, 46, 1 John 1

What God said to me – There are people who always read the end of the book first to make sure there is a happy ending or that the good guys win so they can read the book and not get upset by the twists and turns of the plot because they know the end is good.  You can rest assured as you go through life and see all that is going on in the world that everything is going to come out alright in the end.  You can know this because you know Me and My character – I always do what I say I will do.  In My word I have declared the end from the beginning – I will come again and take my people home to be with Me – I will establish My kingdom where there will be no more sorrows or tears – I will destroy death and Satan and evil.  So, take comfort and be at peace even with all the turmoil and chaos in the world.  You know the end of the story so watch with anticipation and eagerness as I move all the pieces into place.

Amos 1-2, Isaiah 44:24-28, 45, 2 Timothy 4

What God said to me – I encouraged Timothy through Paul to preach the word whether it was in season or out of season – whether it was popular or not – whether it was accepted or not and I exhort you to do the same.  No matter the audience or reception you may receive, you are to stand on My word.  You live in a time where people do not want to hear sound teaching because it is convicting and calls them to change, but you must be faithful to share it because it is convicting and calls them to change.  If My people do not stand and deliver the truth of My word, then people will never hear it because too many teachers and leaders have arisen who say what people want to hear so they can continue to live in sin without guilt or conviction.  There is no such thing as people living “their truth” – there is only “My truth” and you must be faithful to stand on it and not compromise.
