What God said to me – Have you ever been expecting company and didn’t know exactly what time they would arrive?  There are two ways you could approach it – you can go to the store and clean the house and make preparations early so whether they come first thing in the morning or later in the day, you are prepared for their arrival – or you can put off doing the things you need to do thinking you’ve got plenty of time and be embarrassed when they arrive.  That’s the way it’s going to be at My coming.  No one but the Father knows the exact date and time “I AM” coming.  However, because I have revealed so much about My coming, you may not know the exact time, but you can recognize the signs and realize it is imminent.  So, how are you going to live your life?  Are you going to do the things I have called you to do so you are prepared or are you going to put stuff off thinking you still have plenty of time?  There will be some of My children who are going to be ashamed at My coming because they are not doing the things I called them to do.  What about you?

What God said to me –The world is full of various kinds of warning systems.  During war there are air raid sirens to warn of an attack and to get into the shelter.  During storms the local weathermen breaks into shows to warn you of approaching storms and tornado sirens to let you know to take shelter immediately.  When My disciples asked Me about My return and the end of the age, I told them about some of the things which would occur.  The Old Testament is full of prophesies about the end times as is the New Testament.  So, what is the purpose of warnings?  Mainly they are given so people can prepare and do what is necessary to survive.  As I told My disciples, “behold I have told you in advance”.  You as My child are to act as the “weatherman” or “siren” and warn those in your sphere of what My word says of coming judgment.  You are to act as a watchman on the wall to alert them of the approaching danger. The world is in turmoil and the news is filled with war and tragedy, so people are frightened and uneasy.  Use it as an opportunity to share about what is coming and the hope you have as My child.  Time is running short – don’t waste it.

What God said to me – Those I have called to be My children, I have gifted with various spiritual gifts and called them to exercise those gifts in a variety of ministries.  My word is an essential component in each of My children’s lives whether or not they are called to teach or to preach.  It is necessary for you to walk in a manner worthy of your calling, so give it much time and attention.  One of the functions of My Spirit in the lives of My children is Teacher.  He will teach you and disclose truth to you as you dedicate time to study and to learn.  You should be able to make a defense of the gospel and present truth from My word to those who are questioning or maligning it.  Keep My teaching as the apple of your eye – it should be dear to you – it should be important to you – it should be as necessary a part of your daily life as air and food.  Much of the hesitancy My children have in speaking up and sharing My word is for lack of confidence because of lack of time spent in it.  It’s a matter of priorities and dedication.  Do you truly treasure My word?
