Genesis 28-29, Matthew 9:18-38, Psalms 11:1-7, Proverbs 3:11-12

What God said to me – “I AM” a faithful God and I always do what I say I will do.  I promised Jacob the land and to make his descendants like the dust of the earth.  Although he was leaving the land, I promised to bring him back.  He left alone with nothing, and I brought him back with wealth and a family.  Later he left the land again and took his family to Egypt during the great famine.  Four hundred and thirty years later, I brought his descendants back by My mighty hand and outstretched arm.  They went into Egypt as a family and came out as a great mass of people back to the land as I promised.  Because of their disobedience, I took them out of the land – in and out as they repented and sinned again.  They were finally dispersed throughout the nations, but I did not forget My promise to Jacob.  I have brought them back to the promised land by the millions, never to leave again and I will restore them to Me and create in them a new heart.  “I AM” a faithful God and I always do what I say I will do.  If you ever begin to doubt just look at Israel to see My faithfulness.

Genesis 26:17-35, 27, Matthew 9:1-17, Psalms 10:16-18, Proverbs 3:9-10

What God said to me – It is so easy to see something and to pass judgment because you think you know what is going on or the way something should be done when you truly don’t have all of the facts.  I said to be quick to hear and slow to speak for a reason.  I also said not to think more highly of yourself than you ought to think but to think so as to have sound judgment.  You would save yourself and others a lot of grief and angst if you just stopped and sought Me before you responded or stepped into a situation where you shouldn’t.  When the men brought the paralytic to Me, before I healed him, I met his most pressing need.  I told him, “Take courage, son; your sins are forgiven.”  But the scribes who observed the situation immediately began to judge even though they had no clue who “I AM” or what I came to do.  It’s easy to become like the scribes and to judge people who are not like you or who don’t do things the way you think they should be done.  Walking with Me is not living by a set of rules that are set in stone.  It is walking after Me and ministering as I direct.  To be able to do this, you must spend much time with Me so I can teach you and transform you.

What God said to me – You live in a society where people rarely celebrate a victory or triumph or good news that doesn’t personally affect them.  I did a great work in the country of the Gadarenes that saved and transformed the lives of two demon possessed men and yet the people of the city asked Me to leave.  Why?  Because My saving of these men only magnified their own sin, and they didn’t want to change.  Their livelihood was based on raising swine even though as Jews they couldn’t eat them, so rather than turn to Me and change, they asked Me to leave.  Don’t be surprised when people react negatively or are not happy to hear about how I have transformed your life.  It is convicting to them and for the most part, they don’t want to change.  However, don’t let anyone’s negative reaction deter you from sharing what I have done in your life.  My Spirit convicts of sin and righteousness and judgment, and your testimony may be the very thing He uses to reach them when the time is right.
