1 Kings 21-22, Psalms 122, John 10:1-21

What God said to me – Have you noticed with all that is going on in the world the focus always seem to return to Israel?  Why should such a tiny nation be the center of the world’s attention?  The answer is simple – they are My chosen covenant people and I have promised that in the last days I will restore them and bless them so the enemy is doing everything he possibly can to destroy them.  So how is My other covenant people, the church, to respond to these attacks?  You are to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.  You are to pray for the people of Israel to return to Me wholeheartedly and to look to Me for their salvation both physically and spiritually.  You are to love them and to bless them.  Pray for the day when I will restore My throne in Zion.

1 Kings 19-20, Psalms 121, John 9

What God said to me – Jesus healed a man on the sabbath who had been blind from birth so the Pharisees called the man in to question him.  They harassed him and bullied him so he would publicly deny Jesus, but he refused and stood strong.  They ostracized him and threw him out of the temple, but he did not give in to the pressure.  Today My children are still harassed and bullied for their faith even in countries with “freedom” of religion.  To walk with Me and to stand for truth is no longer popular or accepted, whether it is in business or within your community or school or sometimes even in your family or church.  It’s only going to get worse as the end approaches.  You, My child, must determine now that you will be bold and stand firm.  You must live a life above reproach so they have no grounds to attack you other than for your beliefs and righteous stance.  It won’t be easy but I will be well pleased.

1 Kings 17-18, Psalms 120, John 9

What God said to me – Some of the most difficult people to reach for Me are the educated and the religious.  The educated pride themselves on their intellect and view My children as simplistic or superstitious and they see your relationship with Me as a crutch, a weakness, and as folklore with no real basis in fact.  The religious on the other hand think their religion – whatever it is – saves them.  They in their pride think their piety and adherence to rules saves them rather than seeking a true relationship with Me.  The reality is that no matter who a person is – educated, independent, religious or in great need – no one come to Me unless I draw him and open his eyes to his sin and need for salvation and you have no idea who “I AM” drawing at any time.  So your part is to always be ministering and sharing and praying so I can use you when the time is right.
