What God said to me – Some of the most difficult people to reach for Me are the educated and the religious.  The educated pride themselves on their intellect and view My children as simplistic or superstitious and they see your relationship with Me as a crutch, a weakness, and as folklore with no real basis in fact.  The religious on the other hand think their religion – whatever it is – saves them.  They in their pride think their piety and adherence to rules saves them rather than seeking a true relationship with Me.  The reality is that no matter who a person is – educated, independent, religious or in great need – no one come to Me unless I draw him and open his eyes to his sin and need for salvation and you have no idea who “I AM” drawing at any time.  So your part is to always be ministering and sharing and praying so I can use you when the time is right.

1 Kings 15-16, Psalms 119:161-176, John 8:28-59

What God said to me – It has always been true that spiritual things are spiritually discerned so the person who is dead spiritually can never understand My word.  My Son, Jesus, even told the Jews who wanted to kill Him that the reason they could not understand what He was telling them was because they could not hear His word – although they had ears to hear they could not hear or understand the truth because they were dead spiritually.  Part of your frustration and seeming failure in sharing with unbelievers is that you are speaking in spiritual terms that they do not have the ability to understand.  Until My Spirit draws them and saves them and opens the eyes of their understanding, they will never get it.  So the focus of your dealings with unbelievers should be ministering to their needs and praying that My Spirit will draw them and save them – only then will they truly be able to understand spiritual truth.

1 Kings 13-34, Psalms 119:145-160, John 8:1-30

What God said to me – Truth is a rare commodity now days.  You can’t trust leaders or want-to-be leaders because they say whatever they think is necessary to get elected.  So what are you to do?  Who are you to believe?  The prophet I sent to pronounce judgement to Jeroboam didn’t have any qualms about following My instructions and refusing Jeroboam’s requests but when another prophet lied to him, he fell for it because he trusted him rather than running it by Me for confirmation.  As a result, he paid a great price.  You have a responsibility as My child to use My word as your guide and the level by which you judge everything.  The sum of My word is truth.  Whether it is what a politician or a preacher or whoever is saying it – compare it to My word before you believe and accept it.  My children must base their actions and belief systems on My word and not on what people say and do.
