2 Kings 3-4, Psalms 124, John 11:11-26

What God said to me – When Lazarus was sick his sisters sent for My Son, Jesus, to come and heal him, but He didn’t respond in the time and way that they wanted Him to do. Even though Lazarus died, the perfect timing of Jesus’ response brought glory to Me that I would not have received had He gone immediately and healed Lazarus. Remember this when you pray or have prayed for a long time and have not seen an answer. It’s easy to get bitter or discouraged and quit praying when I don’t respond when and in the way that you think I should. “I AM” sovereign, not just in the world, but in your life and My plan and My timing are always perfect and are for your good and My glory. Trust that the answer to your prayer is not delayed, but its timing is perfect.

2 Kings 1-2, Psalms 123, John 10:11-42

What God said to me – There is no doubt that you are living in the last days.  Just look around you – Israel has returned to its land – there are wars and rumors of wars – there are natural disasters all around – people are turning away from Me in masses and embracing sin and ungodly lifestyles.  Don’t let the sadness and the worry of it consume you – lift up your eyes to Me.  “I AM” enthroned in heaven and “I AM” in control.  “I AM” orchestrating it all so that in the end My will, will be done on earth as it is in heaven.  I will be gracious to all those who are Mine so look to Me.  Keep your eyes fixed on Me as well as your heart and mind.  Your help and your hope are in Me and I will not disappoint.

1 Kings 21-22, Psalms 122, John 10:1-21

What God said to me – Have you noticed with all that is going on in the world the focus always seem to return to Israel?  Why should such a tiny nation be the center of the world’s attention?  The answer is simple – they are My chosen covenant people and I have promised that in the last days I will restore them and bless them so the enemy is doing everything he possibly can to destroy them.  So how is My other covenant people, the church, to respond to these attacks?  You are to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.  You are to pray for the people of Israel to return to Me wholeheartedly and to look to Me for their salvation both physically and spiritually.  You are to love them and to bless them.  Pray for the day when I will restore My throne in Zion.
