2 Kings 15-16, psalms 130, John 14:1-21

What God said to me – In this up and down and tumultuous world hope is a rare and precious commodity.  People have difficulty surviving for long when there is no hope.  The thing is that hope is only as good as the thing hoped for – if your hope is in a good medical report and it comes back bad then your hope is crushed- if your hope is in the government rescuing you after a natural disaster and they don’t come through then your hope is crushed – if your hope for financial stability is in your job or a stock market and you lose your job or the stock market crashes then your hope is crushed.  The only hope that is certain is if you put your hope and trust in Me and in My word.  “I AM” steadfast and faithful and I keep My word.  I have gone to prepare a place for you and I will come again to receive you to Myself that where “I AM” you may be also.  Look for that day – hope for that day – pray for that day.  Look up for you redemption draws nigh.

2 Kings 13-14, Psalms 129, John 13:12-38

What God said to me – I washed the feet of My disciples to give them a visible example of what true humility and having a servant attitude is all about.  Do you desire to please Me in your daily life?  Then look for opportunities to serve others.  The higher your standing and position the greater impression it makes when you are willing to humble yourself and serve others.  Knowing My word and being able to share it and teach it is good but the blessing comes when you actually do it.  People are tired of people preaching at them with no evidence in their lives that demonstrates they actually practice what they preach.  So called Christians actually hinder the spreading of My gospel because of their hypocritical lifestyle.  People long for someone who is genuine and lives out My word in their own life.  You be that person.

2 Kings 11-12, Psalms 128, John 13:1-17

What God said to me – “I AM” always at work in the lives of My children – teaching them through My word and transforming them into My image as they submit to Me in every circumstance.  When I was washing the feet of My disciples, Peter asked Me why I was washing his feet and I told him an important truth – that although he didn’t realize at the time what I was doing, later he would understand.  The same thing is true for many of the things “I AM” doing in your life.  Many times it is difficult to understand what “I AM” teaching you or changing in your life when you are in the midst of the lesson, but afterwards when you have made it through you can look back and see My hand and My faithfulness in working all things together for your good and My glory.
