What God said to me – The U.S. Army Warrior Ethos states:

• I will always place the mission first
• I will never accept defeat
• I will never quit
• I will never leave a fallen comrade

Just think what would happen in the church if My children believed this way – they would not just change their lives; they would change the world.  What about you – do you always put Me first – worshipping Me, seeking My will and direction, obeying immediately?  Is this time with Me a priority for you?  When you fall to temptation and sin, do you immediately come to Me in repentance, eager for forgiveness so our relationship is restored, and you can start again, or do you avoid Me and neglect this time because you are embarrassed or ashamed?  What about your relationship with others?  The whole Law can be fulfilled by loving Me and loving your neighbor as yourself.  Look around you – encourage the exhausted and strengthen the weak.  Tell those who are anxious to take heart because “I AM” with them and “I AM” coming soon.  Do you want to please Me and make an impact?  Then always put Me first, never allow sin to overcome you and quit, and come along side and encourage fellow believers so they too can worship Me and minister to others.

What God said to me –There is an unsettled feeling settling over the world.  People are growing anxious.  They seem to sense things are coming to a head – that things cannot go on the way they are going.  Your responsibility in these troubled days is twofold – you are to warn, and you are to comfort.  You are to warn both believers and unbelievers.  For those believers who have fallen away and compromised with the world, you must warn that “I AM” coming soon and that they must repent and return lest they be ashamed at My coming.  You must warn unbelievers of the coming judgment and that the time for repentance and coming to Me is drawing short.  You must also comfort and encourage those faithful believers.  Many are exhausted and anxious and need someone to come along side and lift them up.  As I come alongside you, you then come alongside them.

What God said to me – The world does not want to know the truth because to acknowledge the truth would be to acknowledge Me and their need of Me.  In their pride they believe they can solve the problems of the world on their own, in their own strength and intelligence.  They have no idea they have been deceived by the enemy and so they go farther and farther away from Me.  I have a standard that all will be measured by – righteousness is the level I use – My righteousness.  Even those who claim to know Me draw near with their words, but their hearts are far from Me.  You must learn to live and walk in the reality of My righteousness which I have accounted to you.  Measure all you say and do by that level – are you reflecting My righteousness – are you living up to My standard or the world’s?
