Ezekiel 16:42-17:24, Hebrews 8, Psalms 106:13-31, Proverbs 27:7-9

What God said to me – You must always be diligent and vigilant in your walk.  Don’t ever let down or try to coast because it is easy to fall away.  You must be especially alert during the good times when things are going well for you.  During those times you are not desperate for My presence or desperate to hear from Me because the need is not ever before you as it is when things are going wrong.  It is easy to become forgetful and just go about your day on your own and not seek My counsel.  Israel was notorious for forgetting My works and the things I had done for them so consequently they kept falling away from Me. Purpose in your heart to start every day seeking My direction.  Spend time reflecting on all I have done and express your gratitude and praise.  Make this the habit of your life until it becomes second nature to you.

Ezekiel 14:12-16:41, Hebrews 7:18-28, Psalms 106:1-12, Proverbs 27:4-6

What God said to me – History is replete with companies like Pontiac, Radio Shack and Sears.  They were once known for their service and warranties, but they went bankrupt.  Once that happens, no matter how much you paid, there is no more service or guarantee.  Then there are companies who provide warranties, but there are things you have to do to maintain it – without proper service and care, you can void the warranty.  Your salvation is not like either of these – there is nothing you can do you void it and your guarantee will never go away.  My Son, Jesus, is the guarantee of My covenant with you.  He continues forever and His priesthood is permanent.  His sacrifice was once for all and is sufficient for all eternity.  Therefore, He is able to save forever those who draw near to Me through Him since He always lives to make intercession for them.  Think about that – Jesus is even now interceding for you.  Such a great salvation should cause you to fall on your face in praise and worship and gratitude.

Ezekiel 12:1-14:11, Hebrews 7:1-7, Psalms 105:37-45, Proverbs 27:3

What God said to me – People live their lives believing that if all the judgment in My word is true that its way out in the future so they can live as they want and when the time is closer, they can “straighten” out their lives.  Even My own people live like this.  One problem with this thinking is that I carry out My plans in My time – not yours.  You don’t know when judgment is about to fall and when it does, it’s too late for repentance.  You must live your life every moment to please Me and walk in a manner worthy of your calling.  The other issue with this false thinking is that people can’t “straighten” out their lives.  I alone can save.  I alone can change hearts.  Even those who are Mine can’t change themselves.  Your sanctification comes as My Spirit transforms you as you walk with me daily.  It is only as you walk in this manner that you can live in such a way that you won’t be ashamed at My coming.
