Numbers 26, Psalms 41, Acts 2:16-47

What God said to me – Where is your joy – is it in Me or in your circumstances?  It’s easy to say it’s in Me until things don’t go the way you want or people disappoint you.  These are the times you find out where your joy truly is.  When you feel sadness or disappointment because people let you down, you need to come to Me and worship.  True worship will help you to put your circumstances in perspective.  True worship will turn your eyes from earthly things to heavenly things – to Me.   Once your eyes are truly on Me then I can begin to teach you and show you what “I AM” doing in your life and you can replace the sadness and disappointment with joy and peace.  Rather than dwelling on the hurt and disappointment, immerse yourself in My word and let me minister to you.  You can live in hope because “I AM” in control.

Numbers 24-25, Psalms 40, Acts 2:1-21

What God said to me – Jesus was nailed to the cross and put to death by godless men who thought they were in charge and executing their own plans, when in reality they were executing My predetermined plan.  I knew what was going to happen and I used them as My instruments to carry out My plan.  In the same way today ungodly men think they can control the destiny of My people, Israel, by carrying out their plans to remove them from their land and destroy them completely.  Little do they know that they are pawns in My hands.  I can use them to accomplish My plans just as I used those who crucified Jesus.  They did not anticipate nor could they prevent His resurrection.  So when you look at current events don’t worry about the safety of Israel.  These ungodly people have no idea of My glorious plans for Israel and they certainly cannot prevent them.  Stand by and watch as I use them to accomplish the very thing they are trying to prevent.

Numbers 22-23, Psalms 39, Acts 1

What God said to me – In the overall scheme of things this life is just a moment – a breath.  Keep this in mind when you are in the middle of difficulties or sadness or trials.  When you are in the midst of it, time seems to drag and you begin to think you’ll never get through but that is not reality – it is your perspective.  Turn your thoughts from the temporal to the eternal and keep them there and not on your present circumstances.  Set your mind on things above and not on earthly things.  When you do this you will find your heat shifting and your faith growing as you realize “I AM” always in control and the things you are going through today are for your benefit in the future.  Quit fretting about how you will get through it and start focusing on what “I AM” doing.  Start praising Me for My faithfulness in all circumstances.
