Numbers 21, Psalms 38, Luke 24:30-53

What God said to me – There is a book in the Bible called Revelation, but in reality the entire Bible is a revelation.  It is a revelation of who “I AM” – My character – My power – My love for My people.  In order to understand it, you must know Me and be seeking Me.  “I AM” your teacher and I will open your mind to understand scripture the same way I opened the minds of My disciples to understand it.  In the same way as they were witnesses of My ministry and My death and My resurrection as prophesied in scripture, so you are to be witnesses of what I teach you in scripture.  In order to do this, you must be able to accurately handle the word of truth.  You must spend much time with Me in My word so I can teach you.

Numbers 19-20, Psalms 37:20-40, Luke 24:1-34

What God said to me – After My crucifixion My followers were frightened and in hiding.  In their distress they forgot My teachings and allowed their fear to encompass them.  But before all of it happened I spent time with them, teaching them and sharing what was going to occur so they would be prepared.  My angels at the tomb reminded the women who came of My teachings and when they remembered they were able to rejoice and share.  In the same way I reminded the men on the road to Emmaus of what My word said and when they remembered they were able to rejoice and share.  In the same way I use this time to teach you and prepare you so when you encounter difficult things and stressful times that you don’t give into fear and disillusionment but remember – remember all I have taught you in My word to prepare you to face this very circumstance with joy and peace.
