John 19-21

What God said to me – Look at the response of My Son to Pilate – “you would have no authority over Me, unless it had been given you from above.”  Do you see the confidence He had that I was in control of His life for His good and My glory?  He truly understood that because He was walking with Me nothing could happen to Him that I had not ordained.  It is the same for you.  When you walk in obedience to Me as I direct you, you can be assured that “I AM” using all that happens to you, both good and bad, for your good and My glory.  The key is walking with Me as I direct.  When you go astray, I use those things, but the lesson is usually much more difficult for you because disobedience has consequences and I discipline those who are Mine.  Walk with Me and trust Me to work in your life.

John 16-18

What God said to me – Do you see how I prayed for you before you were born?  I prayed for all of My children when I was on earth and I continue praying now.  I live to make intercession on your behalf that you may come to know Me intimately and deeply – that you would walk with Me continually and not stray – that you would seek Me at all times – that you would be truly sanctified so the world can see Me in you.  If you really want to become like Me, prayer is the key.  You must pray about everything and seek Me continually.  You must pray for others and intercede on their behalf.  This is what this lifelong conversation is all about – walking and talking with Me, friend to friend.

John 13-15

What God said to me – I have given you a Helper, My Spirit to live in you.  When you are studying My word and you don’t understand, then ask for understanding.  He is your teacher and longs to reveal truth to you.  When you are in a situation and you don’t know what to do or say, then ask for direction.  He is there to lead and to guide you into all understanding.  He will show you where you should go and give you the words to say.  When you are overwhelmed with worry or concern or grief and you don’t even know how to pray, He is there praying on your behalf bringing you concerns before Me.  He is there to help you in your walk and to grow the fruit of the Spirit in your life as you yield to His leadership.
