Job 40-42, Isaiah 9

What God said to me – All around you violence and hate are increasing.  Wickedness is all around and is burning like a fire out of control.  Don’t despair, even this is because “I AM” carrying out My plans.  It is all speeding up like a stone rolling uncontrollably down a hill.  Wickedness is becoming an inferno and people are fueling it.  Kindness and goodness are fading quickly.  Darkness is closing in – look up your redemption is drawing near.

Job 37-39, Isaiah 8

What God said to me – You know sometimes I thwart the plans you make, not because “I AM” not with you, but because “I AM”.  I have a plan for your life and for this world that cannot be thwarted.  You are Mine and you cannot thwart My plans for you.  You may run from Me for a time, but you will always return for you belong to Me.  I will never leave you or forsake you – even in your rebellion.

Job 34-36, Isaiah 7

What God said to me – It is easy to judge and to be self-righteous.  Don’t jump to the conclusion that some action or disaster is from My hand in judgment anymore than some good thing is My hand of blessing.  You cannot know My mind unless I choose to reveal it to you.  You walk with Me and seek to know Me.  Don’t speak about judgment or blessing unless I reveal it to you.
