1 Kings 12:1-16:34

What God said to me – Oh that My people would follow Me and obey My word – what pain and sorrow they would have been spared.  I long for them to long for Me . . . to walk with Me . . . to serve Me . . . to fellowship with Me.  Study My word – learn about the blessings I gave to those who remained faithful and the terrible consequences reaped by those who didn’t.  It is My heart’s desire to bless you.  My child – stay close to Me and give Me that opportunity.  “I AM” holy.  “I AM” righteous.  I cannot, because of My very nature, bless sin and disobedience even in My own children.  I long to bless you, to shower on you all the good things I have.  Walk with Me.  Stay close.

1 Kings 9:1-11:43

What God said to me – I have consecrated you and all believers as My temple.  My eyes and heart will always be there.  You must keep My temple holy.  Walk before Me in integrity of heart and uprightness.  Always seek to do what is right.  It is the attitude of your heart that is important to Me.  Keep your heart turned toward Me.  When you fall away . . . when you sin . . . return quickly to Me.  Repent quickly and do not rebel and remain in your sin.  That is what pleases Me.  That is what demonstrates whether your heart is a heart like Mine.  Abhor sin.  Refuse to remain in sin.  Walk with Me.  Seek My heart.

1 Kings 6:1-8:66

What God said to me – You must live in such a way that the world will know that “I AM” God and there is no other.  Let Me fill you with My glory as I did my earthly tabernacle and temple.  It is as I fill you that My glory is seen through you.  It will be evident that “I AM” God and you are Mine.  Although the whole of the universe cannot hold Me, I have chosen to dwell within you.  Such an awesome thought – I know it is beyond your comprehension to truly realize what such a thing means.  Just know that “I AM” loves you with an everlasting love and I desire to fill your life with My glory so the world can see Me through you.
