John 4-6, Psalms 137

What God said to me – Following Me is not easy.  It is difficult to walk in covenant with Me.  When times are easy and you can see the things I supply for you, it is easy for you to rejoice and walk with Me.  What about the difficult times when you do not see or understand?  Can you remain faithful?  Or will you walk away?  Do you want Me just for what I give you or for who “I AM”?  You must commit to walk with Me and trust Me and spend time with Me no matter what each day brings if you want to truly know Me.

John 1-3, Psalms 136

What God said to me – Continually give thanks to Me for all I have done in your life and in the world.  Recount your blessings and the things I have done in the past.  Doing so will build your faith.  Remember these things as you go through various trials, and it will help you to trust Me and remain faithful to Me as you go.  Never forget that each day is My plan for you.  As you go about your day, look for Me – talk to Me – make Me a part of your day.  Walking with Me and talking with Me and listening to Me is how you come to know Me in a deeper way.
