Genesis 4-7

What God said to me – In a world full of sin, where people choose to follow their flesh and to go their own way, I always seek out those whose hearts are inclined toward Me and who want to know Me and do the things that please Me.  It is those people I covenant with.  You must stay close to Me to keep your heart inclined toward Me.  If you wander away, your heart will follow.  You must be diligent to protect your heart or you will find yourself justifying your sin.  The more you justify your sin, the harder it is to return to Me so guard your heart and mind – leave no room for the flesh to draw you away from Me.

Genesis 1-3

What God said to me – From the beginning, I laid out My plan for this world from start to finish.  I knew what would happen so even in creation, I made the lights of heaven to be signs so I could reveal Myself to man.  I gave mankind a clear choice from the beginning – follow Me or go your own way and they chose to go their own way.  Every day you have the same choice – choose life or choose to go your own way.  In order to choose life daily, you must delight yourself in My word, meditate on it and seek Me.  My Spirit will give you understanding and I will plant you so your roots run deep and you will not falter.  You will be fruitful and prosper as you walk with Me.
