Nehemiah 11-13, Psalms 119:33-48

What God said to me – People have no reverence for Me because they do not know Me.  They do not know Me because they do not spend time in My word – even My own people don’t.  Being established in My word produces reverence for Me.  To be established in My word takes time and commitment to study.  As you devote yourself to studying My word, a reverence and awe for Me will grow in you as you learn the truth of who “I AM”.  My word will transform you as you seek to know Me through it.  I will speak to you and teach you as you steadfastly pursue Me.

Nehemiah 8-10, Psalms 119:17-32

What God said to me – Do not be surprised at anything that happens in the world because they turned against Me long ago.  It is becoming more and more depraved as a result.  You sorrow over it because you belong to Me.  I sorrow also and take no pleasure in the death of the wicked.  I have stayed My hand of judgment for a long time in order to give them opportunity for repentance.  However, that time is growing short.  It will not be long before I begin to pour out My wrath on the sin of the world.  The number of those who will repent is growing fewer because they are so hardened and entrenched in their sin.  Take heart – My redemption is drawing nigh.

Nehemiah 4-7, Psalms 119:1-16

What God said to me – When you walk with Me in obedience and seek My direction, you never need to fear that you will miss what I have for you to do.  What you need to do is learn My voice and follow it.  That sense that you should do or not do a particular thing is Me leading you.  Learn to follow it without hesitation or fear.  I will not direct you into calamity.  I will put into your heart what I want you to do.  This is what it means to walk with Me trusting Me to guide you each step.  Stay in My word and continually seek Me and I will establish your ways.  I will not let you wander or fall.
