Galatians 4-6, Psalms 39
What God said to me – Life is short – there is no time to waste. You must be about serving Me. This should be your priority. View everything you do and say through this prism and ask – in what way does this glorify Me? In what way does this please Me? Learn to live your life this way – seeking to please Me in all you do.
Galatians 1-3, Psalms 38
What God said to me – Who’s favor are you seeking – Mine or others? Be honest with yourself and you will see that much of the time you are trying to impress others. Start anew and commit yourself to focus on Me. Dedicate yourself to knowing Me better and seeking to please Me in all that you do. Resolutions are good but commitment is better. Don’t look to a whole year, don’t even look to a whole month – look to this day. One at a time. Dedicate the day to walking with Me. Serving Me. Pleasing Me. That is how you live and walk by faith – one day at a time.
Numbers 34-36, Psalms 37:23-40
What God said to me – Everyone falls at some point. You don’t just stumble when you are first toddling – sometimes you stumble as you are walking. The thing I want you to see is that in order to stumble, you first have to be walking. When you’re walking with Me, “I AM” holding your hand so even if you stumble or even if you fall, “I AM” holding onto you so you won’t be hurled headlong. I’ll catch you. I’ll stop you. I’ll help you. The pathways I lead you on are not always smooth. It’s easy to get distracted and trip up. Sometimes the way is so difficult that even when you are totally focused, it’s easy to slip. Don’t worry. “I AM” with you always holding onto you. Keep going.
