Hebrews 1-3, Psalms 24

What God said to me – I know the things you go through and understand the things you feel.  One of the reasons I took on the limitations of flesh was so that you would know this truth – so that you would understand that I have been there.  “I AM” sympathetic and “I AM” empathetic.  It’s why I can extend mercy and grace and intercede for you whole heartedly.  “I AM” your God.  “I AM” your priest.  “I AM” your brother.  “I AM” your friend.  Turn to Me and let Me walk you through the maze of life.

Leviticus 25-27, Proverbs 17:15-28

What God said to me – I always remember My covenant and “I AM” always faithful to keep it.  I have taken it upon Myself to keep covenant with you.  Always remember that – don’t go by the way you feel because your feelings can deceive you.  You purpose to walk with Me in our covenant relationship.  Be diligent in your walk and purposeful in seeking Me.  Don’t worry about forgetting or not doing the things I ask.  When you forget – I will remember for you and remind you of who “I AM” and what I want you to do.  When you stray – I will come after you and restore you to fellowship with Me.  I have taken this upon Myself – to be your faithfulness.

Leviticus 22-24, Proverbs 17:1-14

What God said to me – Sin is taken so casually now.  Profane words that used to bring death now bring laughter.  Abominable behavior that used to bring separation now brings acceptance and praise.  I have not changed though.  “I AM” still the same.  “I AM” still affronted by sin.  You must learn to see sin for what it is and what it does.  It brings separation and death and destruction even when you don’t see it immediately.  Let Me show you your sin through My eyes.  You will be appalled at how you have allowed sin to callous your heart in the way you see it and how you respond.  You’ll quit making excuses and treating your sin so casually.
