Leviticus 9-11, Proverbs 15:1-17

What God said to me – I delight in the prayer of the upright and I love the one who pursues righteousness.  That is why I laid out such detail in My word and in My law.  I want you to know what pleases Me.  I want to show you how to pursue righteousness.  That is what it means to walk with Me – it is the pursuit of righteousness.  It is daily striving to be holy as “I AM” holy.  It is seeking those things which I love.  It is seeking Me.  I long for fellowship with those who are going after My heart and trying to please Me.  Fellowshipping with Me is the highest accomplishment of a life – to know Me well and to be My friend.  Walk with Me and let Me transform your heart.

Leviticus 5-8, Proverbs 14:19-35

What God said to me – Moses did “just as the Lord commanded”.   Can you say the same?  Do you do just as I command?  You read these scriptures and you marvel at how I talked to Moses and the great detail I gave him.  If I gave you such detail, would you even know it was Me speaking?  Do you know My voice that well?  Such recognition requires an intimate, ongoing relationship with Me.  You must be willing to devote the time if you want to reap the rewards.  You must be willing to obey what I say if you want our relationship to grow.  “I AM” here, the choice is yours.

Leviticus 1-4, Proverbs 14:1-18

What God said to me – You look at the sacrificial system and think why – why all the different sacrifices – why the difference in presentation – why is it so complex?  What you don’t understand is the depth and devastation of sin and the horrific consequences of being separated from Me.  You only see from the prospective of My finished work and you know I have provided the sacrifice for your sin and the way of restoration to Me.  Still, it is so easy to fall into sin even without realizing it.  You may not present the sacrifices today, but it is still necessary for you to search yourself regularly and to come to Me for cleansing and forgiveness.
