Genesis 12-14, Psalms 5

What God said to me – I make Myself known to those who seek Me and to those who are Mine.  It is because “I AM” merciful that you are able to hear Me and come into My presence.  It is because I desire to fellowship with you that I have called you.  It is because I desire a relationship with you that you can hear My voice.  So come near to Me and listen – come near to Me and worship – come near to Me and pour out your heart – come near to Me for “I AM”. Stay close and you will never be disappointed for I will be your shield.

Genesis 10-11, Psalms 4

What God said to me – I hear you when you call on Me because I have set you aside to be My own.  Think about that – I have chosen you and set you aside as holy to Me.  You are important to me.  So important, in fact, that I developed a plan just for your life and I have devoted Myself to carrying out that plan.  That thought alone should stir in you such awe and devotion that you always, only, want to please me.  Commit yourself to that – pleasing Me.  Submit to My teaching and discipline even when it is difficult for “I AM” training you to fulfill My plan.  Think about that.

Genesis 6-9, Psalms 3

What God said to me – “I AM” your shield and the lifter of your head.  Walk with Me and you can have the assurance that everything you encounter is because of My will and plan.  I will shield you from everything else as long as you stay by My side.  That’s why when you are walking with Me you can know that when something bad or difficult happens, it is allowed by Me for your good – otherwise I would have shielded you from it.  So don’t be discouraged during difficult times – let Me lift your head and assure you that “I AM” in control.
