2 Samuel 6:1-7:29

What God said to me – There is blessing when you do things My way and disaster when you don’t.  Don’t waste time trying to figure out the best way or the most practical way – just ask Me.  I will tell you how I want you to do it.  My way is the way of success . . . the way of blessing.  I told the Israelites to carry My ark and not to haul it because I wanted them personally involved with Me as I was personally involved with them.  My desire is for you.  “I AM” the Lord Almighty Whose throne is heaven and Whose footstool is earth and yet I long for an intimate relationship with you.  My desire is for you – is your desire for Me?

2 Samuel 1:1-5:25

What God said to me – “I AM” with you.  No matter what else is going on in your life – that is the ultimate blessing – “I AM” with you.  That is what you need to know . . . that is what you need to cling to.  People think that My blessing on them is that things are going well . . . they are prosperous . . . life is easy . . . they are without conflict.  True blessing, however, is that “I AM” with you in whatever circumstance you find yourself and I will not leave you.  “I AM” always there to guide, to encourage, to teach.  You are truly blessed because “I AM” always with you.

1 Samuel 26:1-31:13

What God Said to me – Find your strength in Me.  “I AM” the source for all you need.  Turn to Me for everything.  “I AM” your God.  “I AM” your provider.  “I AM” your Father in heaven.  I have a plan for you which covers every detail.  Don’t be dismayed over the things that happened . . . know that “I AM” in control and I will give you direction.  Your job is to turn to Me.  Don’t act or react without My direction.  Trust Me.  Walk with Me.  I will not disappoint you.
