Hebrews 1:1-2:18

What God said to me – “I AM” the word of God and He speaks to you through Me.  To neglect My word is to turn a deaf ear to God.  Do you desire to hear from God?  Then spend much time in My word.  In it you will find all you need for life and godliness.  In it you will come you know Me truly, deeply, intimately.  I promise you that if you will devote yourself to My word and pay close attention to all you learn, you’ll not drift away.  Instead, you will come closer and closer to Me and look more and more like Me as you know Me more intimately and allow Me to transform you.  You will find that My word not only sustains all of creation, but it also sustains your life.  Eat it and breathe it and live in it for it is powerful beyond compare.

Philemon 1:1-25

What God said to me – Repentance is the beginning of usefulness for I cannot use you until you have repented of your independence and turned to walk in dependence on Me.  When you act independently of Me by going your own way, you cannot share in the joy that comes from submission to Me and being a part of carrying out My purposes in the world.  Actively sharing your faith does not only mean verbalizing what you believe, it also means walking with Me moment by moment and seeking My direction at every turn.  This is the kind of faith that gives you full understanding of all you have in Me.  This is the kind of faith that makes you useful to Me.

Titus 1:1-3:15

What God said to me – The knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness – that is what My word is.  It is the truth that leads to godliness.  When you are struggling with disappointment in yourself or frustration about your failure to live in a way that pleases Me, turn to My word, don’t avoid it.  As you learn My word and spend time in it, it will truly transform you.  It is innately powerful to cleanse and transform.  There is always something new to learn and deeper truths for Me to reveal.  My greatness is unsearchable.  You can never know all there is to know of Me even if you know My word, word for word.  “I AM” your teacher always and the lessons will become deeper and more exciting as you devote yourself to Me continually.
