Nahum 1:1-3:19

What God said to me – “I AM” good all the time.  Even in judgement, even in discipline, even in trials and tribulation, “I AM” good.  Never forget that truth.  When you can’t see it or understand it and nothing seems good or right, cry out to Me and I will open your heart and eyes to see eternity . . . to see your circumstances from My perspective and you will see My goodness.  What the enemy means for evil, I will use for good and to accomplish My purpose.  Weeping may last for the night, but joy will come in the morning.  “I AM” always at work.  “I AM” always in control.  Though the storms may rage, and the waves roll, never forget that all it takes is a word from Me to calm it all.  So, when you are in a storm that never seems to cease, know that “I AM” in it using it for good, else I would speak and cause it to cease.  Trust Me.

Micah 1:1-7:20

What God said to me – There is coming a day – My day – when justice will reign, and righteousness will triumph.  Look to that day.  Live for that day.  Walk in a manner worthy of your calling so you will not be ashamed on that day.  Spend time thinking about that day and the difficulty and judgment that is coming for those who do not know Me.  Pray for them.  Share with them.  Be a faithful watchman on the wall warning them of what is to come so that they might turn now and escape.  The world is snowballing toward destruction, and nothing can stop it.  The world is lost, but there is hope for a few.  Live for Me and let Me use you to reach them.  Time is short.  Be faithful.

Jonah 1:1-4:11

What God said to me – “I AM” in control – it’s that simple!  I control nature and everything in it from the weather to the animals.  There is nothing that will not obey my command and carry out My purposes.  Don’t forget that truth when the storms come.  The winds and the waves do My bidding.  I use them to accomplish My purpose.  When the storms come, look to Me for “I AM” at work.  Don’t be afraid for “I AM” in control.  Many times, I use storms to capture your attention and to re-focus your priorities.  It’s so easy for you to begin to coast along when things are peaceful and for you to become complacent.  You must work at keeping your focus on Me so that doesn’t happen.
