Jeremiah 51:1-Lamentations 1:22

What God said to me – Judgment is an awful thing, but righteousness demands it.  Sin and rebellion must always be punished, even in My children.  That is why it is so important that you stay close and do not stray.  Don’t compromise – even for a moment – even on the smallest thing because before you realize it, you have moved away from Me and are walking according to the world.  Keep your focus on the eternal and not the temporal because when you live only for the present without considering the future, it’s easy to fall.  Look at Israel and learn.  I have written these things as an example for you and as a warning of the consequences of sin and going your own way.  Stay close to Me and let Me fill you with joy and peace.

Jeremiah 44:1-50:46

What God said to me – There is no need to worry about the future or what will happen for “I AM” in control.  I carry out My plans and nothing can thwart Me for “I AM” God.  All that I have said, I will do.  My word always stands – that is why you must know My word – that is why you must hear from Me.  I do nothing apart from My word.  I reveal Myself in My word.  Spend much time there for in it you will find Me . . . in it you will come to know Me and My ways.  Listen closely to all I say for I will direct your path and guide you in the way you should go.  Listen to My voice.  Trust My word and you will not stumble or stray.

Jeremiah 36:1-43:13

What God said to me – Don’t be discouraged when others don’t listen to Me or follow Me.  Most people only want to hear what they want to hear and do what they want to do.  They don’t want to follow Me and please Me, they just want to feel good about what they are doing so they can feel justified in their own minds.  Don’t be like that. Seek Me earnestly and obey My directions.  Don’t go your own way and hope I will bless.  Be diligent about seeking Me and be just as diligent about following. I will be faithful to reveal Myself to you and you must be faithful to obey what I tell you.  We are covenant partners so when I call on you, you must be available to Me.  “I AM’ always here for you.  Are you always here for Me?
