Isaiah 27:1-29:24

What God said to me – You are My friend.  I have cut covenant with you.  My desire is that our relationship be an ongoing conversation, sharing our lives with each other, you with Me and Me with you.  It is not religion, do this, do that, follow this rule, follow that rule – it is relationship.  So much of church is rules and rituals and litanies saying the right things, but hearts and lives are far from Me.  I don’t desire rote worship.  I desire heartfelt awe as you spend time with Me and see Me for who I truly am.   So much time is wasted doing things and going through motions in order to make you feel better, but are totally meaningless to Me.  Spend your time with Me and I will instruct you and teach you the right way – the way that is pleasing to Me.  We are friends.  Let’s talk.

Isaiah 22:1-26:21

What God said to me – “I AM” your peace.  Stay close to Me.  Spend much time with Me and you will experience My peace.  It’s not something you do or strive for.  “I AM” the one who establishes you in peace for “I AM” peace.  Keep your mind set on Me and I will keep you in peace.  Quit worrying about all you have to do or how something is going to happen or why something has happened.  Set your mind on Me.  You don’t accomplish anything apart from Me.  Set your mind on Me.  Listen to Me and then watch what happens.  You will accomplish much for I will do it.  You will experience peace for I will fill you.  You will see Me at work for I will help you.  You will have great joy for I will be with you.  Trust in Me and I will keep you in perfect peace.

Isaiah 15:1-21:17

What God said to me – The Lord says.  The Lord says.  The Lord says.  Read it.  Believe it.  I speak to My people.  That has not changed.  I long for My people to listen . . .  to wait eagerly to hear from Me.  They either do not believe it or won’t take the time to seek Me, to stop and listen to Me.  You tell them what you have heard from Me. Tell them how I speak.  Tell them how I long to speak to them also.  Most will not listen, but there will be a few . . . a few who hunger . . . a few who need encouragement.  Live out loud what “I AM” doing in your life.  They will hear and be encouraged.  You tell them what you hear from Me, and I will draw them to Myself.  You lift Me up.
