Proverbs 1:1-33

What God said to me – Wisdom belongs to Me.  Listen to Me and let Me share it with you.  Spend time in My word.  Listen and obey and I will pour My heart out to you and make My thoughts known to you.  I long to give wisdom to My children.  I long to share with them My heart.  Unfortunately most do not stop long enough to seek Me.  They are so busy “doing” that they miss Me and so consequently miss My wisdom and My thoughts towards them.  Don’t be like that.  Wisdom is never attained apart from seeking Me and spending time with Me. Stop and take the time for there is great reward in spending time with Me.  I will give you wisdom and understanding and guide you step by step in the way you should go.  Stop the “doing” and come to Me.

Psalms 145:1-150:6

What God said to me – Delight in Me for I delight in you.  I take great delight in those who fear Me, worship Me, trust Me and put their hope in Me.  When you spend time in praise and worship and expressing your love and trust in Me, it pleases Me to no end.  Your expressions of delight in Me make Me happy. Spend time every day in worship.  Meditate on My word and My wonderful works for this will lead you into thanksgiving and praise.  You truly do enter into My presence with thanksgiving and into My courts with praise – so praise Me from the depths of your soul and thank Me with all of your being.  The more time you spend in worship, the more you will see My face and hear My voice for I truly delight in this precious time together.

Psalms 139:1-144:15

What God said to me – I know everything about you . . . every single detail.  I know when you sit down and when you rise up.  I know your every thought even before you think them.  Before you were born, I knew you.  I ordained your life, so don’t wish it away, savor it.  I placed you where I placed you for a reason, so don’t waste time longing for something different.  Long for Me and rejoice in My explicit plan for you.  Look around you at your family, at your friends, at your job, at your circumstances and begin to ask “Lord what are you doing in Me through this person or circumstance”?  Know that I have chosen for you the perfect people and things to transform you into My image and accomplish My purposes in your life.  I will lead you in the way everlasting.  Rejoice and follow Me.
