Job 4:1-9:35

What God said to me – You are Mine, live for Me.  Don’t live to please others, live to please Me.  There will be times when you won’t understand why things are happening.  At those times seek Me.  “I AM” your guide.  “I AM” your teacher.  At those times trust Me.  Remember who “I AM” and that I do nothing apart from My character.  If “I AM” silent then know that My silence has a purpose.  Cling to that.  Don’t go off on a tangent trying to figure it out.  You must keep walking with Me and trusting Me.  When the time is right you will know – you will know because I will reveal it to you.  Trust me – I love you.

Job 2:1-3:26

What God said to me – I know you inside and out.  I know the depths of your soul.  My plan for you is to take all that you are and conform you into My image so you might glorify Me fully and fulfill My plan for your life.  My desire is for you to cooperate with Me in the transformation of your soul.  Listen to Me.  Spend time with Me.  This is why our daily conversation is so important for as you spend time with Me, you learn who “I AM”.  In order to live for Me, to respond like Me, you must know Me.  Being able to accept the good and bad and to respond equally well to both is a matter of trusting Me.  Stay close to Me – I will show you “I AM” trustworthy.

Job 1:1-22

What God said to me – Times of trouble and testing will come – whom will you trust? I tell you “I AM” in control.  You tell others “I AM” in control.  Do you believe it?  Your response in difficult times will reveal it.   You must learn to worship Me at all times, good and bad.  Know that “I AM” in control at all times, good and bad.  I allow little trials and inconveniences to train you and to reveal your heart.  How do you respond to those small things?  Are you irritable? Are you angry? Are you impatient? Or do you smile and take them in stride knowing that the exercise of your patience and faith will lead you to godliness.  Let Me work.  Let Me change your heart.  Rejoice in those opportunities to be godly.
