1 Kings 5-6, Acts 7:1-29, Psalms 127:1-15, Proverbs 16:28-30

What God said to me – Solomon built My house, the temple, according to My plan.  I outlined everything from its layout to the materials used.  When it was complete it was a wonder to behold.  Today I make My abode in the hearts of My children.  I have a plan to build you into a house that is a wonder to behold.  “I AM” at work in your life everyday building and refining you through My word as you spend time in it, through the things you are going through, and through your obedience as you walk with Me step by step.  There is no such thing as a self-made man because unless I build the house, they labor in vain who build it.  So, if you want to be built into a house filled with My glory, quit striving and let Me work in you.

1 Kings 3:3-4:34, Acts 6, Psalms 126:1-6, Proverbs 16:21-27

What God said to me – Can you imagine meeting the wealthiest, most powerful person in the world and having them tell you to just name what you wanted and they’d give it to you?  That’s what happened to Solomon only it wasn’t a wealthy, powerful person who made him the offer, it was Me – King of Kings and Lord of Lords – creator of all that was and is and is to come – God of the universe.  Solomon didn’t ask for wealth or health or peace or prosperity, he asked for wisdom – for an understanding heart to discern between good and evil in order to lead his people with wisdom and his request pleased Me greatly.  So, learn from Solomon and when you pray, ask for wisdom, for understanding and for discernment so you can walk in a manner to please Me.  I have promised that if you lack wisdom and ask Me for it, I will give it to you generously and without reproach.  “I AM” always pleased when My children ask Me for wisdom because it shows you are seeking to follow Me wholeheartedly.  Pray for wisdom.

1 Kings 2:1-3:2, Acts 5, Psalms 125:1-5, Proverbs 16:25

What God said to me – In the prosperity, name it claim it gospel that so many people have bought into, they speak about living your best life now.  However, I told you that in this world you would have tribulation.  I said that because they hated Me, they will hate you.  No matter how wonderful your life may seem now, keep this in mind because as the end approaches, My children will become more and more under attack – even in the so-called land of the free.  When you stand firmly on the truth of My word you will be hated and mocked and at times physically attacked.  You must determine now that like Peter and John, you will obey Me rather than men no matter the consequences.  It is not an easy place to be.  When Peter and John were arrested and jailed and flogged and threatened, they rejoiced that they were counted worthy of suffering for My name, and they kept on preaching and teaching the truth.  Are you willing to walk in a manner worthy of your calling no matter the cost?  Then start here and now.
