Ruth 1-4, Proverbs 23:1-18
What God said to me – Everyone at some time in their lives will experience bad and difficult things. I have told My children that I work all things together for good – do you believe it or are you so focused on the difficulties that you miss the blessing of trusting My sovereignty. Look at Naomi – she didn’t have an easy life – she went to Moab because of a famine and then her husband and sons died. She returned home bitter and destitute. Because she was so focused on her circumstances, she didn’t see how I used the famine to move her so her son could marry Ruth, who became one of the greatest blessings of her life. Had she not lost her husband and returned destitute, she would not have needed her kinsman redeemer, Boaz, who redeemed her and saved her and became a picture for all My children of My Son, their Kinsman Redeemer who redeemed them ad saved them. Remember this as you go through various trials and difficulties. Even when you don’t see it or feel it or understand it, give praise and thank Me for how “I AM” using your present circumstances for your good and My glory and you will experience the peace and blessing that comes from trusting My sovereignty.
