What God said to me – The movie Ocean’s Eleven is about a casino robbery.  The guy being robbed is portrayed as arrogant and unlikeable and the guys doing the heist are portrayed as likeable, quirky, affable guys and you find yourself rooting for the criminals.  How did that happen?  The film producer knew you could easily be manipulated by feelings.  Now look at it in terms of the world you live in today.  You see mass riots and demonstrations against things you see as obviously right and good and you wonder how people can’t see what you see.  However, the prince of the power of the air, Satan, is much more powerful and able to deceive and manipulate better than any movie producer.  He can easily delude those who do not know Me because they do not have My Spirit within them to lead them into all truth.  It is more important than ever that you stay close, be in My word constantly, and pray without creasing so you can know and discern and walk in the truth.  Stand firm!

Jeremiah 22:1-23:20, 2 Thessalonians 1, Psalms 83:1-18, Proverbs 25;11-14

What God said to me – In this evil age, standing with Me and for Me is not easy.  Look at My prophet Jeremiah.  He was beaten and persecuted and mocked and cast out.  The world has reached a place where not only does it not accept those who walk with Me, they reject them totally.  They are not satisfied with not believing or disagreeing, they have come to violently oppose any who are holy and follow Me.  They want to destroy all that is Mine so they are not confronted with their sin.  This time you live in is not easy and it takes determination to maintain your walk and not give in or just choose to keep silent.  This time with Me is becoming more and more necessary for you so you can stand and not waver.  Be diligent.  Be steadfast.  Cling to Me and My word.

Jeremiah 19-21, 1 Thessalonians 5:4-28, Psalms 82:1-8, Proverbs 25:9-10

What God said to me – You live in a tumultuous world and people are overcome with anxiety, even children.  In this twenty-four-hour news cycle you are constantly bombarded with wars and rumors of wars, with demonstrations and riots, with natural disasters and destruction, and with inflation and cost of living worries.  Even My own children are susceptible to being overcome with anxiety and depression.  So, how do you deal with it all and not succumb?  I have given you everything you need for life and godliness.  Daily you must take up the armor I have provided especially the breastplate of faith and love and the helmet of the hope of salvation to protect your heart and mind.  Rather than being anxious about all the “things”, learn to rejoice always.  Rejoice in your salvation.  Rejoice in your eternal hope.  Rejoice that “I AM” sovereign and am working out My plan.  Pray without ceasing and in everything give thanks.  As you learn to practice this lifestyle, My peace that passes all understanding will guard your hearts and minds.
