Numbers 34-36, Psalms 37 :23-40

What God said to me – “I AM” your refuge, your hope in time of trouble.  “I AM” always here.  Run to Me for protection.  Run to Me for comfort.  Run to Me for direction.  I provide for you all that you need for life and godliness.  I have given you Myself for your own possession.  “I AM” yours and you are Mine.  Take possession of this great gift I give you.  Claim Me as your own – all of Me.  Drive out all of those things that have become idols in your life for I cannot dwell with them.  Let Me fill you, My temple, with My Glory.

Numbers 31-33, Psalms 37 :1-22

What God said to me – When Israel went in to take the land which I gave them, I commanded them to drive out “all” of the inhabitants who were in the land because if they let any remain, they would become pricks in their eyes and thorns in their sides and bring them trouble.  I know My people and what they are susceptible to and how easily their hearts would lead them astray.  That is why I was so specific with them and with you – I know your heart and the things that will lead you astray.  This is why you must constantly guard your heart and your eyes.  Allowing one little thing that you think is not “so bad” can lead you into sin that becomes a snare for your entire life.  My instructions are for your good.  Following My commands will keep you from a lifetime of struggling with sin you allowed to slip in.  Trust that My word is for your benefit.  Trust and obey.

Numbers 28-30, Psalms 36

What God said to me – Take refuge in Me for “I AM” your deliverer.  Run to Me when you are upset or troubled or in a difficult situation and I will shelter you and give you peace.  When you are hidden in Me, “I AM” a stronghold that no evil can break through.  You are always safe with Me.  However, My desire is not just to be your refuge in times of trouble, but always.  I delight in you and I long for you to come to Me with all things . . . the good things . . . the happy times . . .the questions you have.  Come to Me often.  Nestle into My arms and tell Me what’s going on – not so I know (for I already know everything about you), but so you can delight in Me as I delight in you.  For its when you learn to delight in Me always that the desires of My heart become the desires of your heart.
