Isaiah 8-9, 2 Corinthians 12:1-10, Psalms 55:1-23, Proverbs 23:4-5

What God said to me – It is not uncommon to hear an athlete giving glory to Me when they win a big game or someone thanking Jesus when they receive some great award or accolade.  What is rare to is to hear it when they lose or when someone else is honored even though in every circumstance “I AM” still in control and carrying out My plan.  My apostle, Paul, suffered much in serving Me.  He was beaten, he was imprisoned, he was shipwrecked, and he had physical infirmities but he learned in every circumstance that My grace was sufficient in whatever situation he found himself.  Like Job, he learned to praise Me, and honor Me, and remain faithful to Me, not just in spite of his circumstances, but because of his circumstances.  When you are My child, I use everything you encounter, whether good or bad, to sanctify you and to transform you into My image so you are pleasing to Me.  Stay close so you can experience My all sufficient grace in whatever you are going through – “I AM” with you always.

Isaiah 6-7. 2 Corinthians 11:16-33, Psalms 54:1-7, Proverbs 23:1-3

What God said to me – Have you ever thought about what it was like for Isaiah to see Me on My throne high and lifted up?  He saw the seraphim surrounding Me – he saw My glory filling the temple – very few people have ever seen or experienced such an awesome sight.  Now look at Isaiah’s response – he said, “woe is me because I am a man of unclean lips”.  This man of God – My prophet who lived for Me and who spoke for Me recognized his abject sinfulness and the sinfulness of his people when he saw My holiness.  When I cleansed him and took away his iniquity and forgave his sins, his first words were, “here am I, send me”.  I told him judgment was coming and the people, for the most part, would refuse to hear or obey, but he went anyway because he had seen My holiness and he knew My salvation and forgiveness and there were a few who might come.  You are facing a similar situation in the world today.  I have saved you and forgiven you – judgment is coming – are you willing to go even though there are only a few people who will respond?  Will you, like Isaiah, say, “here am I send me”?

Isaiah 3-5, 2 Corinthians 11:1-15, Psalms 53:1-6, Proverbs 22:28-29

What God said to me – You are in the midst of a war every day – that is why you must consistently walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh.  I have given you powerful weapons to fight this war – divinely powerful weapons – but they are spiritual weapons.  With these weapons you can pull down strongholds and destroy fortresses.  You must seek Me constantly in prayer and stay in My word.  Quit daydreaming and letting your mind wander.  You must learn to take every thought captive and learn to set your mind consistently on things above.  To do this takes practice and consistent prayer.  This moment-by-moment conversation is where you gain the strength and discipline to walk in such a manner consistently.
