Mark 10-11

What God said to me – There will always be those who question your beliefs and lifestyle when you follow Me.  Some come with honest questions desiring to know why you are different, why you have peace.  Many come questioning desiring to discredit you or prove you wrong or to show how backward or simpleminded you are.  To those who are sincere, answer their questions sincerely and thoughtfully.  If you don’t know the answers tell them so and then tell them what you do know.  To the others, seek Me as to how you should respond.  I’ll direct you if you should answer or if you should disregard them.  Each situation is different which is why this daily conversation with Me is so important.  I’ll direct you as you go in whatever you encounter.

Mark 8-9

What God said to me – You have such an advantage over the disciples.  Even though they walked with me, they really didn’t understand much of what I told them until after My resurrection and the Spirit came.  You however have had My Spirit within you teaching you from the moment you believed.  You also have My word to read and study and meditate on whenever you wish.  The problem is that even though I have given you all you need for life and godliness, you neglect it.  You spend little time in My word and seldom cry out to My Spirit for guidance and help.  You neglect the very resources I have provided and then wonder why your spiritual walk is so up and down.  Walk with Me and talk with Me, not just every day, but every moment.

Mark 6-7

What God said to me – Time alone with Me is essential.  There is so much going on in your life and in your family and friends and in the world around you it is easy for you to be tired mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.  You need to draw alone with Me regularly so I can minister to you and refresh you and so you can hear from Me.  Depression is rampant in the world today.  The enemy takes away hope even from My children.  “I AM” your hope – not just for the future, but for today.  Spend time with Me so I can fill your heart and mind and renew your strength.  I will fill you with hope for today and for tomorrow.  Come to Me you who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
