Leviticus 8-10

What God said to me – You must not take your relationship with Me lightly.  “I AM” holy and you must always remember that.  “I AM” your Father but “I AM” also holy so you must never approach Me flippantly or casually but always with the respect due to Me.  You must come to Me on My terms – not your terms.  That is why so many people do not pursue Me – they want to set the terms of our relationship.  They are full of pride and have no understanding of who I truly am.  Unless someone is willing to humble themselves and approach Me with meekness and awe, I will not accept them.  I long to deepen our relationship but you must be willing to accept My terms.

Leviticus 5-7

What God said to me – It is easy to sin unintentionally – you are busy or distracted or tired and you do or say something thoughtless without even being aware of it.  That is why you must stay so close and in tune with Me.  My Spirit will prick your spirit.  When you sense that pricking that maybe you shouldn’t have said this or done that, immediately repent and ask forgiveness.  When you learn to respond that quickly, your walk with Me will grow even deeper.  Learn to listen to that still small voice and obey quickly.  It is a lesson in learning to hear from Me and know My voice.

Leviticus 1-4

What God said to me – You can offer all the sacrifices you want – you can put on a show and go through the motions, but unless you truly repent, it’s all a waste of time and effort.  True repentance is what I require of My children.  You must learn to see sin – even the things you consider tiny and not so bad – from My perspective.  Seek Me often.  Evaluate your walk often.  Don’t let the little things pile up.  When this happens you begin to drift away from Me.  You become ashamed to come to Me.  Deal with these things as they occur.  Be quick to admit your failure and repent.  Don’t let them interfere with our relationship or disrupt our conversation.  Go to My word.  Read it.  Memorize it.  Meditate on it.  It will give you the resources to resist temptation and to stay holy and pure.
