Ezekiel 8-11, Isaiah 37

What God said to me – I know your sitting down and your going out and your coming in – I know because “I AM” God and you are Mine.  Just as Hezekiah brought the letter of his enemy before Me and cried out to Me for My help, so you must come to Me with everything.  Let Me reveal My plan to you and you can grow in faith as you see Me carry it out.  My plans cannot be thwarted no matter what – strength cannot thwart My plan, ability cannot thwart My plan, intelligence cannot thwart My plan, possessions cannot thwart My plan, preparation cannot thwart My plan.  “I AM” God and I will carry out My purpose for this world and for your life.

Ezekiel 5-7, Isaiah 36

What God said to me – “I AM” all-powerful and yet I can be hurt by My children when they sin against Me – when they turn to idols – when they depend upon themselves rather than Me and go their own way rather than follow after Me.  As you hurt for your children and grandchildren as they do foolish things and reap the results, so I hurt for you when you do the same.  You are Mine and I will never forsake you, but I will also never “force” you into obedience.  You must come to Me.  You must desire Me above all else.  You must forsake your sin and repent.

Ezekiel 1-4, Isaiah 35

What God said to me – Look at what I have to say about the angels and pattern your life after them – “wherever the Spirit was about to go, they would go, without turning as they went.”  That is how you are to live your life – go where I go – go where I lead without hesitation, without turning.
