Jeremiah 40-42, Isaiah 24

What God said to me – So many times My people start out determined to follow Me no matter where I lead them, but when they see where “I AM” leading and it is not what they wanted, they go their own way.  You must not be like that.  Know that the way I lead you is the best way, even when you can’t see it.  Don’t predetermine what you think I will do.  Walk with Me and follow where I lead.   I do not always reveal My plan before hand, but sometimes it’s as you are going.  You must learn to trust Me even if you don’t understand that “I AM” doing.  As you learn to walk in this way, your faith will grow.

Jeremiah 37-39, Isaiah 23

What God said to me – Don’t struggle to hear from Me.  My word comes to you as you walk with Me.  I speak to you not just during this time, but throughout the day as you walk with Me.  That is what a relationship with Me is about – it is a back and forth just like with any other relationship.  Don’t struggle to hear, just stop and listen.  I have told you before that I long to speak to My children, but most of the time they ignore Me and go their own way.  Don’t be like that – continue to seek Me and I will continue to speak.

Jeremiah 34-36, Isaiah 22

What God said to me – Don’t be surprised when people won’t receive My word even when judgment is right before them.  It has always been this way.  Few are totally committed to Me even among my own children.  They have conformed to the world and tried to fit in and be accepted.  Don’t be like them.  Walk with Me set apart from the world.  Set your heart and mind on pleasing Me and not them.  Those I speak to are those who seek Me out and walk with Me.  Continue to seek Me and I will make Myself known to you.
