Genesis 38-40

What God said to me – Whatever you do, do it as unto Me.  You must work hard and always give your best because all you do you are doing for Me – not for your boss, not for your family, not even for yourself.  As My child you should always have a reputation of being diligent as you work, kind as you interact with others, and faithful as you go about everything you do.  Your reputation reflects on Me and will cause people to turn to Me or to turn away from Me..  You should be a reflection of Me to the world.  Unfortunately most people separate out their daily lives from their relationship with Me.  They don’t see that all of their sin is sin against Me and that all of their faithfulness and kindness is faithfulness and kindness to Me.  You cannot separate your life from our relationship.  Live each moment for Me.

Genesis 35-37

What God said to me – I reveal Myself and My plans to My children as they come to Me and seek to know Me.  “I AM” not like man and My plans are not the way man would do them.  Man would have chosen Ishmael, the first born, but I chose Isaac.  Man would have chosen Esau, the first born, but I chose Jacob.  Man would have chosen Reuben, the first born, but I chose Judah.  “I AM” not like man.  My ways are different and are high above man’s ways.  You cannot guess or anticipate My plan.  You must come to Me and I must reveal it to you.  You must seek Me and I will reveal Myself to you.  I long for those you will come to Me eager to know Me and hear from Me.

Genesis 32-34

What God said to me – Don’t spend time worrying about what might happen – look to Me.  Spend your time recounting the ways I have blessed you.  Spend your time in My word going over My many promises to you.  Spend your time seeking Me about how to handle every situation you encounter.  I will lead you and guide you.  If you encounter trouble or difficulty know that “I AM” with you and I led you that way for a reason.  In order to get you to the place I want you to be, you must take the path I have chosen for you.  I will not misdirect you.  I will not always take you the easiest way, but I will always take you the best way.
