Genesis 30-31

What God said to me – The cares and trials of this world are part of life and everyone experiences them. The difference between you who are My children and others is that “I AM” with you through everything you experience. “I AM” with you because you are Mine. Just as I directed Jacob, I will direct you. Just as I provided for him, I will provide for you. Don’t worry because you have no control over others’ behavior. I can use them to bless you even when they have no idea it is I who is directing them. I use all people and all circumstances to accomplish My purposes in the world and in your life. Trust Me to work for your good even when you can’t see it.

Genesis 27-29

What God said to me – When Jacob was running for his life and feeling guilty over his sin that had separated him from his family, I reached out to him. I always reach out to My children to draw them to Me – to draw them to repentance – to draw them to fellowship. The next step is yours. Will you come to Me or will you continue to run? The sooner you come, the sooner you repent, the sooner you seek Me, the easier it will be for you. Let Me take away the guilt you feel. Set up a marker as a permanent reminder of my love and forgiveness. Don’t let your sin cause a separation between us. Deal with it in repentance and return to Me.

Genesis 25-26

What God said to me – Abraham died satisfied with life – what depths are in that simple statement.  Do you know what brought about this satisfaction?  He walked with Me – he believed Me – he obeyed Me.  Even before I gave the law to Moses, Abraham kept My laws.  When you walk with Me you don’t have to worry about doing the right thing, you automatically do the right thing because “I AM” directing you.  You must quit trying so hard to obey and just walk with Me.  Being legalistic is not what pleases Me – walking as I direct is what pleases Me.  When you’re in constant fellowship with Me, you won’t stray into blatant sin or disobedience because you are focused on Me.
