Exodus 28-31, Proverbs 5

What God said to me – Details, so many details! As you read about the tabernacle, as you read about the priests’ garments you see so much detail.  No detail is too small for My attention.  That is the way it is with your life.  You are now My tabernacle, My Temple.  Every detail is important.  Everything in your life must say “Holy to the Lord” so the world will know “I AM”.  You must consecrate your temple for My glory because it is where I live and meet with you and where people see My glory.

Exodus 25-27, Proverbs 4

What God said to me – I gave Moses very explicit instructions on how to build the tabernacle because it was to be a sanctuary where I would meet with them.  Then I assigned Aaron and his sons to keep it in order from morning to evening perpetually.  I have made you My child, My sanctuary now.  I have put My Spirit within you to dwell with you perpetually.  You also became a part of a kingdom of priests when you became My child.  So, the question is as My priest, how are you tending to My sanctuary.  Aaron and the other priests spent every day tending to My sanctuary so it was always in order.  You need to spend time daily examining your heart and making sure it is a fit place for Me to dwell and for you to be able to worship Me.  Watch over your heart with all diligence for from it flows the springs of life.  What comes out of your mouth and your actions and attitudes will reflect what is in your heart so tend it well.

Exodus 21-24, Proverbs 3

What God said to me – “Trust in Me with all of your heart and do not lean on your own understanding.”  That’s easy for you to believe when things are going great – when you and your loved ones are happy and healthy and prospering.  It’s when things go sideways and you encounter difficulty that you begin second guessing Me and rely on yourself.  You need to remember that you only see what is happening now – what is right before your eyes.  You don’t understand how “I AM” at work in you building your faith and revealing those things you need to surrender to Me.  I could have given the children of Israel a completely vacant land by moving all of their adversaries out at once but I knew that was not good for them in the long run – they needed  to learn how to be strong and to trust Me so I gave them opposition and things to overcome to teach them and to train them.  I do the same for you – don’t lean on your own understanding, but trust in Me.  What I do for you is for your good and My glory.  Trust Me.
