Zechariah 6-7, Revelation 15, Psalms 143:1-12, Proverbs 30:24-28

What God said to me – It is so easy to get up in the morning and hit the ground running because you have so much to do or conversely to sit down with the intention of just relaxing for a minute and before you know it, you look up and you have been on your phone or iPad for an hour just scrolling – then you wonder why you get so fussy during the day at the smallest irritations and disruptions.  You need to learn once and for all to turn to Me first thing so I can help you set your agenda for the day and teach you in the way you should walk.  “I AM” your Father so like a parent teaches his child, let Me teach you to do My will and lead you in the way you should walk and the things you should do and how you should respond.  Surrender your soul, your time, your tasks, your worries, and your hopes to Me each morning so I can fill you with My peace and joy as you go throughout your day no matter what you may encounter.  You don’t know what each day will bring, but I do so come to Me so I can prepare you.

Zechariah 4-5, Revelation 14, Psalms 142:1-7, Proverbs 30:21-23

What God said to me – Where do you run when you are in trouble – when your spirit is overwhelmed within you?  Who do you tell your complaints and problems and worries to – family – friends – anyone who will listen?  When you car is empty and running on fumes you don’t go to the mall.  The mall might have many great things but it is not going to solve the problem of your empty gas tank – you need to go directly to the gas station and get filled up with gas.  You need to quit shopping for things that will not help your situation and get to the place where you can actually find what you need.  The same is true of your spiritual life.  When your spirit is overwhelmed within you, run to Me, cry out to Me.  I know your path.  I know exactly where you are and what you need.  “I AM” your refuge and very present help in time of need – come to Me.

Zechariah 2-3, Revelation 13, Psalms 141:10, Proverbs 30:18-20

What God said to me – The question for you is not what is going on in the world, good or evil, but who are you worshipping? You must keep your mind set on Me, trusting Me and worshipping Me no matter what is going on around you or is happening in your life.  “I AM” in control and what is going to happen will happen.  Don’t let those things distract you or make you fearful or cause you to fall away.  Devote yourself to Me.  Cling to Me all the more as things appear to get worse.  The patient endurance and faithfulness you will need comes from spending much time with Me.  This time must be your priority in order that I may strengthen you for what lies ahead.
